WHY DO I NEED A WILL?

It is the most important document anyone every writes, but is probably the most common one to be ‘put off till later'. The main reasons for this are it's felt to be very complex, expensive and morbid.

Without a Will the state decides where your money and possessions go. If you think everything will go to your spouse or children, you are wrong. If you don't have a Will you are said to have died ‘intestate', which means the rules laid down by the state will decide what is given to whom.

If you have ever been divorced or separated it is paramount a Will is made since an estranged husband, wife or partner may inherit and the current partner miss out. Your children may not receive what you had intended if your wife, husband or partner should remarry after your death, as the inheritance you had intended to go to your children may end up with someone else's children.

At Cromwell & Co we can help you overcome this.
