ENDURING POWER OF ATTORNEY (EPA)

We all like to think that we will be able to look after ourselves and that the time will never come when we can't, but the fact is that with medical advances and a healthier lifestyle, more people are living beyond their mental capacity.

If you become mentally incapacitated and are unable to look after your financial affairs, the State will appoint an Official Receiver (local firm of solicitors) to do this for you. The cost of this will come from your finances, hence eating away at your hard earned assets.

However by having a POWER OF ATTORNEY drawn up whilst you are able, you can choose your own Attorneys to look after your affairs when the time comes.

Cromwell & Co. recommends that you name your loved and trusted family to do this job for you and we will draw up a power of attorney for you naming them.
